Inquiries

Please note: We do not identify or evaluate ceramics.

The Keramikmuseum does not offer identification, authentication, dating or valuation of ceramics of any kind. This applies to all objects, including Westerwald stoneware. If you have found an unknown piece of ceramics, please do not contact this museum and do not rely on AI-generated information about it. Contact a certified appraiser or a local antiquities expert instead.

Scientific inquiries about Westerwald stoneware are always welcome. Due to a very high volume of enquiries, processing may take several months. We kindly ask you not to ask about the current status of your enquiry during this time. Thank you for your patience.
