Kurzbiographie TITUS LERNER
- geb. 1954 in Hachenburg / Westerwald
- Humanistisches Gymnasium
- Studium Bildende Kunst
- seit 1978 freischaffend
Werkstationen
Schon seit 1979 widmet sich Titus Lerner ausschließlich der Darstellung des Menschen in Bild und Plastik. Hierbei entstehen zunächst Terrakotten, ab 1984 überwiegend Bronzen und vereinzelt Steine. Die bildhauerische Arbeit wird immer von Zeichnungen und Radierungen begleitet, die die Themen der Arbeitszyklen oft aufgreifen. Seit 1988 entstehen Malereien, die zum Schwerpunkt der künstlerischen Arbeit werden. Das neuere plastische Werk zeigt vornehmlich Bronzeeditionen und Bronzeunikate.
